As a family of Jesus-followers, we focus our energy on pointing people to life in Him. We exist…

For God - God established the Church, owns the Church, and is the true leader of the Church.  Therefore, everything we do as His Church should be in obedience to His instructions for us through His scripture.  Our lives are an overflow of gratitude for what Jesus has done through His death and resurrection.  The name, Redemption City Church, comes from Colossians 1:14 which reminds us that the greatest gift we have received from God is “redemption, the forgiveness of sins, in Him (Jesus).”   When we gather or when we scatter into our everyday lives, we strive to do everything for the fame of the one who made us, loves us, and is leading us.

For The City – We love Austin…specifically the people of Austin.  The city is an incredible place to live, and we want to make it even better. So, we have chosen to invest our lives here by serving others who call Austin home.  This includes serving people from every race, economic status, background, age, circumstance, etc.  Ultimately, our service is motivated by what Christ has modeled for us in becoming a servant, to the point of giving up His life.  If you are interested in serving with us, contact us at: forthecity@redemptionaustin.org

For The World – We love the world because God loves the world. Over 7 billion people live on this planet, and God cares about each one.  We work to regularly demonstrate God’s love in tangible ways to people from every nation, tribe, and tongue.  Practically this means that the people of Redemption regularly give resources to support ministries in and take part in trips to locations around the world to share the Gospel with others.  If you are interested in going with us on one of these life-changing trips, contact us at: fortheworld@redemptionaustin.org.
